Situated just off the Manly Corso, down that random alley with all the graffiti, a little cafe called Little Legends is about to open. I painted this mural a few weeks ago after months of planning with the owner of the cafe. The Manly Mermaid, as locals are now calling her, features on the front of Little Legends. Two full 10 hour days, she took full form while I chatted with locals, listened to the amazing Jazz festival that was on that weekend, and patted many local dogs. Oh, and lots of coffee. I'll be back soon to paint the other remaining walls at the cafe, but the overwhelming response from Manly locals and visitors has already made my year. Check out the Manly Mermaid and enjoy a coffee at Little Legends.
Featuring on the rooftop bar at Oasis Backpackers Hostel in Seville, Spain, you'll find Bobby's bar. What started off as a 7 hour journey, a hangover and the need for a beer after easter celebration began, turned into a collaboration that created the "beautiful ocean beard spanish guitar playing man" wall mural. After about 10 hours work, great conversation and beers with Bobby, the bar was finished. A little piece of RANNA now resides in Sevilla...
‘Surfer Doggo’ happened because I was sitting in a café looking for my next big job. A friend had suggested I try and get my work on the Bondi Seal Wall for exposure. After filling out half the application I realised the council needed to sketch/ plan of the work to approve. Immediately I thought ‘surfing dog’. Everybody loves a surfing dog. Four months later the application was approved and I was down at the beach painting my Bondi pupper. Lot’s of children and families were immediately drawn to the image, which made my three-second decision one of those moments in time. A traveller came up asking to take my photo and after a chat he asked why the surfer doggo? I replied “because with so much hurt and hate and bad things happening in the world, people could do with a surfing doggo”.
